Rye Restaurants - Sous Chefs

Rye Restaurants is always looking for strong Sous Chefs to add to our team!

The right person puts people first, is organized, hard working, and has excellent communication skills. You must have at least 2 years experience with BOH Management. You must have broad food knowledge and cooking skills. We are looking for someone who is a strong, and experienced leader.

Sous Chefs are responsible for the following

- Managing your BOH team along with Chefs and Pastry Chefs.

- Attending weekly FOH/BOH manager meetings

- Participate in the BOH Hiring Process - interviews, stages, hiring, and assist with execution of training program

- You will have input in the dinner menu including curating the program, seasonal changes, and continued staff education, inventory, and placing orders

- Maintaining health inspection standards and doing daily walk thrus

- Maintaining a high level of communication with the management team at store level along with upper level management

- Must have ability to set deadline, and follow through on completion

- Maintaining all R&M issues, and reaching out when necessary

- Taking care of our staff
